Pandora is great! I’ve been listening to it via the iPhone since the app came out. It’s a wonderful way to start with something you know and like, and let Pandora find new but similar music. I’ve found more cool music this way.

Here’s an idea: create a visual Music Map or “family tree” of musical styles which shows the divergence (and convergence) of musicical genres.

Wow, this guy is smart as hell. I’m a relatively new user on Pandora, so it’s great to learn more about how this all started. The get togethers Tim conducts with his fans and the way he gathers information and feedback through every possible channel is brilliant.
