Really love these things - If I explained how I feel, I'm afraid that I'd be talking of myself and not the art - I guess I'll just say these pieces evoke an unfulfilled (unattainable?) longing - I like many but the Tomatoe Vines the most - I look forward to following this artist also because I relate to her cherishing overcast days, but have never been able to express as much so clearly and succinctly - I guess I'm not alone

Maryanne created the Central Park Birds for our family last summer. When we moved to Boulder from Manhattan we wanted a piece of our history/story captured through the eyes of our children at our time spent in the City. Maryanne took that abstract feeling of ours and captured it perfectly in that piece!! Not only is it beautiful to look at (still get comments on it all the time) but the heart and soul she put into it to personalize our piece still blows us away! I won't give away all the secrets... but those 4 birds represents our 4 children and the uniqueness of each bird is the uniqueness of each of our children. And there's so much more. Maryanne you're so talented and so real. Love, love our birds!

You are amazing! The pieces are so great, they all make me smile, I love them. I am a big fan of yours (the stationary you created for me was fantastic). This artwork is unique, creative and fun. Congratulations. -Laura

I just love the uneven edges of Maryanne's pieces, which I can see would look great in a crisp, modern setting! I also have always loved felt, so it's wonderful seeing someone doing something so creative with this material.
