We've got to get beyond the veneer of modernism and keep aiming to achieve its fundamental values. I look forward to seeing how Edgar's work progresses! They were curious about everything - film, toys, furniture - and applied their craft to all these different areas. Now I'm off to find those plans at ReadyMade...I've always wanted a backyard office. (Although in Texas it better include air conditioning!) I love the modern but warm designs Edgar is doing, and I appreciate his willingness to share how he got started and the different decisions he's made along the way.
