I am unable to read articles online very often, but I’m glad I did today. This is very well written and your points are well-expressed. Please, don’t ever stop writing.

How about some modern upbeat icelandic music Jonsi sticks&stones, African-Arabic base beats, etc. I grew up globally and love to hear music from all parts of the world, particularly the new when they keep it in their own language, translating it into other languages the music looses so much. There is such great talent out there that just doesn't get around for everyone to enjoy but your company is helping remedy that. THANKS!

Thanks you so much for posting this great interview! I loved reading about how Putumayo got its start. We were introduced to the music at the Children's Museum of MN years ago--Arabic Groove was playing and we found ourselves dancing along. Just couldn't help it. We hadn't listened to the album in a while, but heard it yesterday while visiting the King Tut exhibit at the MN Science Museum. I've been listening to it all morning. Do you mind if I link to this interview from my blog? Thanks again, and I look forward to coming back to read more here.

Im a big fan of Putumayo too. Now that I've discovered that Nicole Heindl is the responsable for the amazing covers, I'd love to know who makes every different typography on each cover (Im a graphic design student and I'm really into typography)
